1st birthday party (for 150 people)

The event was a success and the staff were helpful and very accommodating. They were very flexible and a perfect venue for a birthday party.

90th birthday tea (for 60 people)

Booking the venue couldn’t have been simpler. Denise was most helpful throughout and responded promptly and helpfully to our requests for detailed information. The party itself went off extremely well. The venue looked lovely and was the perfect size for our afternoon tea for 56 people. The caretaker and security guard were both very helpful on the day.

65th party for Paula (for 65 people)

The North London Reform Synagogue was the ideal venue for my husband’s surprise 65th birthday party.  We are keen dancers and so the hard floor of the Kiddush Hall was perfect for our needs.  We had easy access to set up in the afternoon with help, far above and beyond, from the Chairman of the synagogue, Richard Woolf.  We arranged the hall with five tables of 10 with extra seating around the edges of the hall to accommodate 70 guests in total.  There was plenty of space for a buffet table, bar and dance floor, which was packed all night!  The sound system was excellent which meant that we could plug in laptop, ipad and ‘phones for our music and so we did not need a DJ.

We hired three waitresses and the venue hire included use of the kitchen, all the crockery, cutlery and glassware.

I would thoroughly recommend this venue for your simcha and have to say that liaising with Synagogue Manager, Denise Bonham, leading up to our party was a joy which eliminated any headaches or anxieties in organising such an event.

Kumon Whetstone Advanced Students’ honour roll Awards ceremony

was held in North London Synagogue, Sha’arei Tsedek on Monday November 27, 2017.

This autumn it has been our twentieth annual prize giving and we were delighted to get the opportunity to hold our annual Award Ceremony in the most professional environment provided for us in the North London Synagogue.

Caretaking services were superb, we were warmly welcomed and no issue and no task or request was too big for the helpful staff of the North London Synagogue.

We shall definitely use this venue for our Awards Ceremonies again in the future.

DJ Matt Frankel – Bat Mitzvah party

From the moment I walked in the room I was excited and knew exactly what I could do and the potential for my lighting to make it look outstanding.

I look forward to working with you again.

60th birthday for Elaine (for 95 guests)

“I hired Sha’arei Tsedek main hall for my 60th birthday party. I had 95 guests and decided I wanted space for dancing too. I had 10 tables, a bar, a photo booth and a snack table in the room and there was ample space to comfortably enjoy it. Denise in the administration office and the Chairman, Richard were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. I visited the venue on several occasions before the date and never felt uncomfortable at doing so. The facilities at the venue are wonderful, kitchen facilities, plentiful coat hanging, changing facilities and clean decorative ladies’ toilets. The caretakers are also very co-operative. I would recommend this venue”.

Maureen McDermott Internal Communications and Engagement Officer The Commissioning Group London Borough of Barnet

“I’d like to thank you and all the staff at the Synagogue for being so helpful and supportive with our events, particularly on the technical front. They all ran smoothly and to time and the refreshments were plentiful. This made our role as organisers so much less stressful which we really appreciated.

We will definitely use your venue again and recommend it to colleagues who need to host events”.
