Sha'arei Tsedek invites applications from causes who would like to be considered for inclusion on the 2017/5778 Days of Awe Appeal that goes out to members.

KOLEINU EREV SHABBAT SERVICE

Friday 26 May, 6.45 pm

Start your Shabbat with a swing - this week we will be joined by our Koleinu Band. The service will be led by Rabbi Judith Levitt with Noah and Daisy Bruck.   The service will be followed by a catered Kiddush.  All ages welcome.

TIKKUN LEIL SHAVUOT

Tuesday 30 May, 6.30 pm – midnight

Tikkun Leil Shavuot

Please join us for a night of spiritual, cultural, educational and culinary nourishment to celebrate the festival of Shavuot. This year we will be joining Rabbi Yuval Keren, Rabbi Rebecca Birk and members of their respective communities from Southgate Progressive and Finchley Progressive Synagogues.

The event will be hosted by Finchley Progressive Synagogue at their premises in North Finchley.

SHAVUOT MORNING SERVICE

Wednesday 31 May, 10.30 am

We will be holding a Morning Service and Kiddush to celebrate the giving of the Torah.  There will be Mishpacha Activities for families with younger children.  

   

DEMENTIA CLUB UK

Monday 5 June, 2.00 pm - 4.00 pm

This afternoon we will be welcoming James Le Bec as our guest entertainment.

Dementia Club UK at Sha’arei Tsedek is open to all faiths.  The initiative is sponsored by Saracens Foundation.

TEENS & TECHNOLOGY

Friday 9th June 2017, 5.00 pm—6.45 pm

Teens & Technology—a workshop for young people in Yr 7 and upwards and their parents with Student Rabbi Deborah Blausten followed by Erev Shabbat Service at 6.45 pm

Whether Snapchat makes you want to scream or share, whether Instagram irritates or inspires; questions of how we use our gadgets and the apps on them are now a central part of teenage (and pre-teen) life. A hands-on workshop exploring our relationship with all things digital and how we might get the most out of their role in our lives whilst dealing with the tougher issues they present.
