The JDA Chanukah Appeal

The story of Chanukah tells how a small drop of oil miraculously lasted long enough to keep the Temple light burning for eight days.  At JDA they find this especially poignant, celebrating that they’ve made your charitable donations go such a long way to help so many people.  Not a miracle, but a result of their unfailing commitment and very hard work.

At JDA they’re very good at making what they have go a long way.  But it is only with your help that they can continue radically improving the lives of people who are isolated by their deafness and would otherwise have nowhere to turn.

With no government support and without the fundraising, advertising, PR and marketing budget of the larger charities, they rely entirely on friends like you responding to appeals like this to keep providing the growing range of specialist services on which our community depends.

Cuts to public spending and their excellent reputation for providing expert support both within the Jewish and the wider local community, mean that more and more people are turning to the JDA for help.  Today they need to raise more funds than ever before.

This Deafember, please donate as generously as you can so that, together, the JDA can keep ensuring every deaf person gets the very best out of life.
